Neroli - It's Use in Starflower Essentials Organic Skincare

Organic Neroli Essential Oil is an oil that is extracted from the blossom of the bitter orange tree. (Citrus aurantium subsp. amara or Bigaradia). Neroli became used in the 17th century when Anne Marie Orsini, duchess of Bracciano and princess of Nerola, Italy first used the distinct spicy yet floral scent in her bath and on her gloves. Neroli is now used mainly in perfumery but it is also essential in skin care due to it's ability to heal scars, stretch marks and thread veins. It is also helpful in treating mature and sensitive skin while toning the complexion and erasing wrinkles.

At Starflower, we use Neroli in several of our skin care treatments. The refreshing scent and healing abilities of the oil make some of our products that contain Neroli, customer favorites.
